Not really, “this card’s name opt” is a ruling label for the effect. Basically the effect itself can only be used once per turn.

This is not the case. If it were, cards like “Cyber Dragon Core” could also use their effect more than once per turn, as their name becomes “Cyber Dragon”. Once per turn clauses always refer to the printed name of a card. Not the card’s name via effect.
There’s that one wyrm/dragon(?) that has some funky attributes involved but I don’t feel like looking up the name right now. Would be nice if frost & flame dragon and desert twister were expanded upon.

Kinda sucks that it’s not triggering effects of Allure Queen monsters. Was it really this difficult to add clause that monsters special summoned by last effect are treated as special summoned by effect of monster mentioned in their effect or something? You know – Lv.5 being treated as summoned by effect of Lv.3 and Lv.7 by Lv.5.
She can though, if you equip her with say LV5 she’ll gain her name, then summon LV7 from the deck and as she’ll be summoned by the effect of the now Allure Queen LV5 she can use the absorption effect.

Imo Konami should’ve considered redesigning the archetype, but they never intended to fix the theme up a bit better with the recent support to this new support card, being Chaotic AQ’s 2nd isn’t a Quick which results in Golden Allure Queen being this huge target for negates and/or removal so…

The fact it be any name is definitely something that can become either great or dangerous in the longrun, but for Allure Queen obviously this is fantastic for them especially for it being GY disruption if their Link 3 is out.

Konami actually did the impossible and made Allure Queen good. LIGHT means you can now safely include the White Forest package in here and being treated as the Allure Queens means you can now use the effects of LV5 and LV7 on your first turn.
As this takes up an anime monster slot, we should have two Main Deck Battlewasps in here.

Honestly, this pretty good given it discards instead of banishing, so in a chaos deck that’s a light/Dark in the gy for later.
Every time I see a spellcaster type with 1500 DEF I always think how can I use it in Charmers because that’s the only deck I ever cared about
Much like the Monarchs, I feel like Charmers should focus on each one developing a deck for their own attribute.
Imagine running charmer deck with everyone of them, Darth, Lila, Eria, Wynn, Ausa, Hiiata, in 1 deck. That does not work. It would brick instead.
Why not build multiple decks, for each charmer? Instead of putting them all in 1 deck? That sounds like what Monarch cards being used these days. Monarch x Charmer anyone?
