Well there are obviously going to be more as it says “Morganite” card. Meaning it’s an Archetype
I’m gonna say it now. I bet there’s either going to be a monster or continuous spell/trap in the future that gets stronger the more Morganite cards you have banished
It searches morganite, that’s what really matters, but being able to more easily close out games it a nice bonus
If you activate this, then search and activate Time Tearing, you lose 2 cards for no immediate advantage. Doesn’t seem good for stun, unless you can mill it in a deck like Paleo.
Let’s see what the other Morganite cards are first this is starting to look like their take on the infinity stones.

Aggro/otk support is not what I wanted to see for more rest of duel effects but I get they want to keep theme of 2x of something.
Rest of duel astral barrier, union attack, no tributes for normals, 1 less tribute to tribute set, those sort of things I would vibe with.
So we’ll eventually get a Gem-Knight Morganite that will search these cards, right? ;P
I have a feeling stun-decks just got a boost
but also Sacred Beasts would love this

I still wondering if they will revisit materiactors, a series/theme (if you can even call it that….) that looked like it was gonna get a card per set but it’s currently stuck in a 3 card limbo land.
would be useful in mekk-knights. their summoning from hand doesnt activate. avramax could attack twice and any dmg done is doubled

Meh, it’s like the prequel to the original one it searches it and it give you a small bonus.
Morganites are made to boost older archetypes that do NOT have very many special summon options and control based decks such as aqua/umi control, evil eyes and stun. Tbh idk if I’ll run one of this new on in my evil eyes build. I’ll definitely try it but im unsure the double dmg in evil eyes can rack up.
Next time could you publish these in one article labelled something like “some free agents from ROTA” instead of making a bunch of 1 card articles?

I would’ve gone for 2 Battle Phases and 2 “soft once per turn effects” for each monster each turn, but this isn’t bad.
I mean, the design space for another Morganite that does that is there.
This seems somewhat ridiculous. Time-Tearing Morganite is a really strong card in certain decks, and I bet this will also be. That being said, the decks from my experience that like Time-Tearing the most tend to be very stally and backrow-heavy, so this card might not be as good in those same decks.
they could be making a mulligan system when at the start of the duel you have to shuffle 1 card from your hand into the deck and add 1 morganite type of cards to your hand.
Is this card useable for any deck?!?!?
