Strategic Summary:
Another day, another fun CDP, and today’s profile is no exception! Today, I’m featuring the Majespecter archetype by slotting them into a more traditional Pendulum-goodstuff build, since they’re heralding the return of Majespecter Unicorn with the new TCG F/L List! This deck is simple: Abuse as many powerful Pendulum monsters as possible, and the Majespecter meets every aspect of that gameplan. First, Majespecter Raccoon – Bunbuku is an excellent card to summon, regardless of what you need. Need a starter to get into Beyond the Pendulum? Raccoon does that with Majespecter Porcupine – Yamarashi. Need a starter to get to your Raccon? Majespecter Crow – Yata does that with the help of Majespecter Wind. Need to get to your Unicorn? Racoon does that too, to add a Quick Effect bounce during either player’s turn! The next engine at play supporting all of this is the Endymion, as Servant of Endymion exists to bring out either Endymion, the Mighty Master of Magic or Mythical Beast Jackal King to protect your plays from Spell/Trap effects or Monster effects, respectively. It also happens to set up Exceed the Pendulum or Selene, Queen of the Master Magician plays as well!
Moving along to the meat and potatoes, we have the Supreme King engine, led by Supreme King Gate Magician. This engine boasts an incredible ability to scale up the potential of your board, with the help of things like Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon, while improving consistency via Wings of Light and Supreme King Dragon Darkwurm. On the other hand, you have the Pendulum Magician theme, with Harmonizing Magician generating material for Synchro Summons, Double Iris Magician tutoring the Pendulumgraph cards, and Odd-Eyes Pendulumgraph Dragon offering yet another form of disruption for your endboard. Pendulum Magician decks were already coming back into style in the OCG, but I really love just how much the Majespecter engine helps this deck accelerate, maintain speed, and ultimately defeating the opponent in one fell swing!
