RD/KP17-JP062 ダークマター・アサシネイト Dark Matter Assassinate (Dark Matter Eliminate)
Normal Trap Card
[REQUIREMENT] When your opponent Normal or Special Summons a monster.
[EFFECT] Choose 1 face-down card on the field and reveal it. If that card is a Monster Card with 1300 DEF, then, you can choose 1 face-up Level 8 or lower monster on your opponent’s field or 1 face-down card on your opponent’s field and destroy it.
Note: Assassin and its various derivations are non-grata in the TCG, and the most reason version of this is “Gold Pride Eliminator”.

Yeah a very high chance this card will be used by that new dark matter empire character
Surprisingly generic for Dark Matter support and can be used in a wide variety of Decks to interrupt mid combo.
With the condition of this Trap Card, I can’t think of another Deck (outside of Dark Matter) that could take better advantage of it.
There are a fair number of existing themes that have at least 1 monster with 1300 DEF. Yes, Dark Matter is the one to get the most of this card but nearly every Type has a viable candidate to some extent.
It can also be used by any Deck against Dark Matter itself as well.
