So, we have the second Structure for Rush Duels and it is focused on “Elemental HERO”
Honestly, if there is a Deck that many asked for and wondered why it was taking so long to be in Rush Duels, it is “Elemental HERO”
It also looks like there won’t be any Rush Duels packs in June: meaning the next GO RUSH-focused pack should arrive in August or September.
I wonder how they’ll rework Flame Wingman’s trigger effect
I’d imagine he’d be turned into something like Volcasaur instead. Ignition, pop and burn but cannot attack for the turn.
It would still be functionally the same, except without breaking Rush concepts.
My guess would be either continuous effect or something similar to Dragias.
If i had to guess, something like:
This monster must be fusion summoned
[Requirement] none
[Effect] target 1 monster your opponent controls with less atk than this monster’s atk, this card gains that monster’s atk, but can only battle that monster this turn.
For a sec I thought of choose 1 monster in your opponent’s gy that was destroyed in battle by this card this turn but there’s no main phase 2
Elemental HERO Fusions are too weak for Rush so hopefully they are significantly easier to summon.
I imagine they’ll probably get their own Rush-exclusive Fusion Summoning cards.
Well, Go Rush is acting like the RD version of GX with its focus on different ways to Fusion Summon. Hoping we get Ancient Gear Golems too. 9th anime might be a RD version of 5Ds that brings us Rush Synchros.
I feel like, if there was a third Rush’s Anime, I think we would have a new Summon Method that combines things from Rituals and Synchros: like the fact that it needs certain specific Monsters, to be in the Extra Deck and a Monster of a new category (as was Tuner)
I cannot imagine us ever getting any more of the extra deck types in rush. Like maximums and fusions are both 3 card combos to do their thing, being able to take any tuner and non tuner and turn it into a boss monster would break the game in half

Just turn “synchro” into a spell card, so you need a tuner and a non-tuner on the field + the spell card

i dont like rush duel. But to the new generation of kids that enjoy them, i hope this cards mean to you what they mean to us more than a decade ago. The whole original trilogy, specially the beginning o the GX era were one of the things i love the most in one of my hardest moments. Play with the vanilla heroes and the Cyber girls (Alexis early deck) were sometimes the only escape i had to the bullying i suffered in school. Yu-gi-oh was the nexus to make some of my closest friends. I dont know why the Heros (The first ones) were always the “logo” of that chapter in my life. I hope if some kids finds themselves in the samesituation the heroes help you too.
