A showcase advertising Konami’s new animation department was shown at the Tokyo Dome, depicting several different themes.
KONAMI animation’s showcase Yu-Gi-Oh! CARD GAME THE CHRONICLES started with Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl spotting and following a light, alongside Blue-Eyes White Dragon and Red-Eyes Black Dragon.
It should be noted this is not a trailer for upcoming shows, but more of a demo reel to showcase the talents of KONAMI animation, with a variety of animation styles.
It then showed short videos for the following themes:
Maiden with Eyes of Blue and Azure-Eyes Silver Dragon
The Spirit Charmers
The Third Ice Dragon, Trishula Unleashed
Melffys of the Joyous Forest
The Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS – Sky Thunder (this one uses CG animation)
The Legendary Six Samurai!

After a brief showcase of animated appearances of Magicians of Bonds and Unity and Dragon of Soul and Pride, there were also some more brief animations.
“Exodia” the Guardian God of the Palace
“Visas” the Glimmers through Stars and Frost
“Fire Kings” vs “Atlanteans” the Ocean up in Flames
“Diabellstar” the Curse Defying Witch
“Dragon Rulers” the Paranormal Calamity
“Magistus” the Great Sorcery
“Solfachord” the Ensemble of Happiness got a longer section.
The video concluded with Sky Striker Ace – Raye and Sky Striker Ace – Roze clashing.

This is the single best thing to ever happen to all Yu-Gi-Oh players. I love it.
The only thing to top this would be a full length anime with the same (or better) animations, but I would not get my hopes up.
Yugioh tiene para sacar muchísimas películas con estas historias sería interesante conocerlas más a detalle sobre cada arquetipo del juego. En mi opinión me fascina el juego soy fan y gusto mucho este video fue tan genial que quería que no acabe. Muchas gracias.
Manga Black Magician is finally animated. Just a few months shy of 26 years of Yugioh animation since he first appeared in the Opening, it has finally happened. I just wish a certain someone could have seen this moment.
On the downside, Konami doing animation now might interfere with my dream of having the manga faithfully adapted (after it had 2 adaptations that slaughtered it), but its really up to Shueisha. And I wouldn’t want them to animate it. Tired of all these other 90’s or older series getting remakes, specifically the ones that sold less than Yugioh’s manga.
I hope to see more from Konami Animation. Very impressive so far.
PLEASE make the Albaz story into a full length anime! Don’t tease us like that!

They’d just adapt the Sky Striker manga. hmmm…. The Magistus manga just starterd, so they could do that one next I guess. If they made a Charmers manga it would be a Duel Terminal story since Charmers are set in the Duel Terminal world.
One of the Yu-Gi-Oh! lores definitely deserved to be animated into a full-length anime or movie instead of making a series that doesn’t follow the official game. Considering that has never happened before in any card game franchise

I hope the animation of “The Legendary Six Samurai” means there will be new card’s for the deck, at least some new Extra deck Legendary Six Samurai monsters.
I hope this means some of the themes in here will get new support soon.
It would be cool to make an anime series of each Lore. Don’t necessarily have to start from the beginning of YUGIOH, but probably the best starting point.
Sky Striker manga just finished. Magistus manga just started. I think they’d pull from there do adapt limited series anime. If they did make a Charmers anime it would be a Duel Terminal story since Charmers are set in DT world.
