Note: Invitare is Italian for “To invite”.

● Take 500 damage, then you can add 1 “Vaalmonica” card from your GY to your hand, except “Vaalmonica Disarmonia”.
Note: Disarmonia is Italian for “Disharmony”

I don’t know but I think these help the archetype a lot
THAT’S IT! BANISHED RECOVERY! Oh I feel better about it now.
They solved the plaguing problems of the archetype huh. Selettrice and Invitare is basically consistency booster we needed and Disarmonia is the recursion and additional +1 counter we needed for more Resonance Counters. Now, we just need a way to protect backrow which the Field Spell should have done so, otherwise a new Quick-Play to save them might be needed even if its only for a turn. Seriously they live and die to a breeze in this kind of format where Fire Kings are dominating.
either that, or some continuous spell that holds onto resonance counters when they get destroyed, and then use them to search for Vaalmonica monsters?
for some reason, combining an Echo Chamber and a mental sounding board into “Vaalmonican Sounding Chamber” keeps popping into my head
This seems bad like it just makes getting the scales easier which it was already easy. The deck doesn’t seem to do anything like what does it end on, there is no payoff for playing this deck.
it ends on the blue link 1 with the trap set and hopefully a i:p masquarena. when u activate trap you get to return a monster to hand or destroy a spell and get 2 resnance counters, then the link one can copy it to bounce a monster and destroy another spell/trap, then the angels counters will hit 3 so you can change of heart an opponents monster using the field spell and if they get more monsters on the board u can ip into the angel link 1 and pop up to 6 monsters on the board or you can go into the blue link one and get another bounce and spell/trap destruction then if the angel pend is still on the field and ur opponent attacks u can summon another link monster during the battle phase for either another bounce and spell/trap destruction or monster destruction. so it ends on 6 interruptions during the draw, standby, main phases, and one interuption during the battle phase.

No doubt in my mind that 021, 042, and 064 are all Centur-Ion cards. And after today’s reveal, 3 cards for Centur-Ion is definitely in play.

I don’t think they’re meant to be played solo? If that’s the case, then the win condition is getting their Link Monsters on the field.
maybe they’ll do a main deck boss monster in the form of a retrain of Light and Darkness Dragon? Or maybe a Chaos monster that uses a light and a dark pendulum monster in your face-up extra deck as tribute materials (much like other Chaos monsters use the graveyard for such)?

Transcendrake are an engine in dino not a pure thing, they were never intended to be their own thing
It’s good support but the deck still has no win condition or payoff
Vaalmonica feels like it could have been a good deck without all the unnecessary restrictions. Like here in this support, the main deck monster only triggers from normal or pend summon, so the e-tele won’t trigger it. And the e-tele effect can’t be copied by the pends.
People should understand that most archetypes are designed with restrictions to prevent one theme from being too powerful.
These cards are all fairly good especially the second Quick-Play.
