CDP: Bamboo Sword S’Infernoble Spoils, ft. Terminal World

One last hurrah for Isolde!

Strategic Summary:

Welcome back for another upgraded version of a prior CDP, this time taking on the combination of the Infernoble Knight and Bamboo Sword archetypes! If you missed my profile on them from three years ago – don’t fret, I’ll cover the goals of this strategy again here! The Bamboo Sword archetype consists entirely of Spell Cards, and led by the combination of Cursed Bamboo Sword and Golden Bamboo Sword, you’ll be resolving your Draw 2 Spell as much as possible. You see, Isolde, Twin Tales of the Noble Knights can send a copy of Cursed Bamboo to Special Summon Infernoble Knight – Renaud, getting you a copy of Golden and your Cursed back, resulting in even more card advantage. The Infernoble Knights also have plenty of ways to get 2 Warriors on the field to do so, whether it is through Infernoble Knight Ricciardetto or Sublimation Knight. Where the Bamboo Sword archetype starts to go off the rails is once you’re able to tutor Burning Bamboo Sword. Whevener it is on the field, and you activate another Bamboo Sword card, you get to skip your opponent’s next MP1. This is massive, as most decks need their turn to play the game, but it gets even worse if you’re able to resolve Burning Bamboo with a copy of Terminal World face-up, because then they won’t be able to have a MP2 either!

To summarize – the goal of this deck is to entirely bypass the opponent’s ability to play the game. But if you take it further, and include the new Sinful Spoils theme led by Diabellstar the Black Witch, you don’t have to rely on cheese to win duels. You see, Diabellstar can tutor a copy of Original Sinful Spoils – Snake-Eye, which can be used to Special Summon either Ricciardetto or Infernoble Knight – Renaud. Synchro Summon Diabelle with this Level 1 Tuner, and you get to make Accel Synchro Stardust Dragon, which brings back your Level 1 Tuner, letting you immediately summon Power Tool Braver Dragon. Braver can then equip 3 Equip Spells from the deck, giving you access to your Bamboo Sword cards as well as your Infernoble Arms, such as “Infernoble Arms – Almace“. In other words, even if you don’t start out with access to an Infernoble combo, even Diabellstar can get you there, and set the duel straight off the rails. Life is short, so why not make your opponent’s turns even shorter by combining the Bamboo Swords with your Infernoble Knights?
