Deck Commentary

A Deck that combines Level 8 Fiend Monsters with the “Hakai” from “Chaos Impact”.

The Deck is based around bringing out the “Hakai” monsters along with utilizing the opponent’s monsters in various ways, such as:

• The second effect of “Hakaishin no Magatama” allows you to use things as Link Materials
• Tribute your opponent’s monsters to Special Summon “Lava Golem”.
• The effects of “Mind Control” and “Crackdown” takes control of the opponent’s monsters.

Add Level 8 Fiend monsters (such as “Lava Golem”) from your Deck or GY to your hand with “Dark Occultism”, or you can recover them from the GY to your hand with “Hakaishin Ragia” or “Hakaishin Arba”, to allow them to be used again.

[Key Points]

The mind and spirit to use your opponent’s monsters smoothly is graceful!

[Explanation]

An extremely straight-forward Deck Recipe that is completely be dedicated to the idea of “Absolutely use the opponent’s monsters no matter what”.

It specializes in a game plan where you move at your own pace to use your opponent’s monsters, such as:

• The special feature of the “Hakaishin” monsters is an effect to use an opponent’s monster as Link Material
• Tributing and Taking Control of the opponent’s monster, et al.

Keep in mind the turn you Special Summon “Lava Golem” you cannot Normal Summmon, but you Special Summon cards like “Hakai Douji Arha” (with its 1st effect), and the “Hakai” Spell/Trap Card you destroyed will Special Summon “Hakaishin no Magatama”, and then use the 2nd effect of “Hakaishin no Magatama” to use “Lava Golem” as material to Link Summon a Link Monster.

Until the end of the turn you activate the 1st effect of “Hakai Douji Arha” you cannot Special Summon monsters, except “Fiend” monsters, keep in mind this synergizes well with “Lava Golem” and “Grinder Golem”

One piece of advice I’d like to give is that basically the only way you’re really going to be getting out “Hakaishin no Magatama”, which while “Hakai Douji Arha” and “Hakai Douji Rakia” might help to a degree, it might be smart to consider cards like “Mystical Space Typhoon” and/or “Twin Twisters.”

Simply put, I think at heart, while the Deck is on point with utilizing your opponent’s monsters, it needs a means of dealing with the opponent’s Spell & Trap Cards

Deck Commentary

A “The Calculator” Deck that makes use of “Bulge, the Spiral Dragon” from “Chaos Impact”.

The 2nd effect of “Bulge, the Spiral Dragon” makes the Levels of all monsters on your field 8, meaning “The Calculator” gains a ton of ATK, letting you inflict huge damage.

As a means of assembling a large number of monsters on the field at once, use “Ojamassimilation”. Reveal “ABC-Dragon Buster”, then banish 3 “Ojama” monsters, and Special Summon “A-Assault Core”, “B-Buster Drake” and “C-Crush Wyvern”.

Also, “Magical Hats” lets you send “Ojamagic” and “Thunder Dragon Fusion” (whose effects both activate in the GY) to the GY, while you can use the effects of “Obliterate!!!” and “Constellar Pleiades” to return the Spell/Trap Cards set from the Deck in the Monster Zone by “Magical Hats” to your hand.

[Key Point]

A 60 Card Deck Full of Combos

[Explanation]

While this Deck is introduced as a “The Calculator” Deck that uses “Bulge, the Spiral Dragon”, that’s merely one side.

This Deck integrates a large number of combos, that ultimately requires it to contain 60 cards to make full use of. At first glance, it’s built in such a way that makes it rather hard to penetrate the true essence or aim of the Deck, I’m glad to see such a masterpiece submitted.

The Key Cards for this Deck are “Magical Hats” and “Omni Dragon Brotaur”.

“Magical Hats” (and “Trap Trick”) can be utilized in the manner above, but let me explain the means of using “Omni Dragon Brotaur”. “Ojama Red”, “Ojamassimilation” and “Ojama Duo” Special Summon “Ojama” monsters that can be used as Materials to Link Summon “Saryuja Skull Dread”, and then its “4 material” effect to adjust your hand, and then Special Summon “Eclipse Wyvern” from your hand for its “3 or more materials” effect. And, then that “Eclipse Wyvern” is used as Material to Link Summon “Guardragon Elpy”, to activate its effect to Special Summon “Omni Dragon Brotaur. (Don’t forget the effect of “Eclipse Wyvern” in the GY!), then use the 2nd effect of “Omni Dragon Brotaur”, which lets you add a monster with the same Attribute and Type as the target monster from your Deck to your hand, and if you target Brotaur itself, you can add cards such as “Bulge, the Spiral Dragon” to your hand (and with “Omni Dragon Brotaur” and “Guardragon Elpy”, you ca Special Summon “Bulrge, the Spiral Dragon”.).

Before Special Summoning “Guardragon Elpy”, you can Special Summon “ABC-Drago Buster”, to let you add “Galaxy Soldier” et al to your hand. Elsewise, there’s “Thunder Dragon”, whose effect lets you add 2 more “Thunder Dragon” to your hand, which you can return to the Deck with the 4 Materials effect of “Saryuja Skull Dread”, OR you could use them as materials when you activate “Thunder Dragon Fusion” to help Fusion Summon “Thunder Dragon Colossus”. You can reveal “Cyber Twin Dragon” with “Ojamassimilation” to Special Summon “Cyber Dragon”, allowing you to Summon “Chimeratech Megafleet Dragon”. You can add “Chaos Emperor, the Dragon of Armageddon” via “Omni Dragon Brotaur”, and use it to banish “Eclipse Wyvern” to add the banished Dragon monster to your hand, et al et al…

This Deck has so many charming features, it’s impossible to explain them all.
