Is it just me or Yuamu keep getting cards with weird timing ?
None of these timings are weird.
Yuamu made a Deck designed around sealing Asaka’s Time Machine. Thermal Runway destroys it if set. Wave Pulsar combines with Red-Boot to weaken an opponent’s monster’s ATK for Blue-Fang.
Flash Memory Fusion is in response to Asaka’s Absolute Destruction, one of her more commonly used Traps.
The fusion monster is so ass, with the huge resource needed to summon it I’d expect the ATK gain to also happen during opponent’s turn, not just on the user’s turn, plus having trap immunity at least
Also what was even the point of this duel if Time Machine ends up not activated???
It’ll hopefully get buffed to all turns when it’s added to the actual card game. It’s pretty similar to Dark matter Galaxy Dragon in how it’s a big attack stick
There are so many ways to bring out both monsters now in the Deck that honestly this monster just being a beatstick is justified.
Reconnect, Striping Wyvern, Dragophone, Flip and Flap, 7 Shift, Progression.
They also have their two exclusive Fusion Spells and ways to recover both.
Finally, Prisma is a Fusion Substitute.
The closest thing we got to a Red-Eyes/Blue-Eyes Fusion currently.
Dragonic Thermal Runway’s requirement is interesting. Have there been other anime-only RD cards so far that activate on set?
I don’t believe any cards exist with that sort of requirement in the physical game yet.

I would like Blastchronos to let you add back any trap while Time Machine is in the grave if it gets printed.
Demolition being the Time Machine recycler wasn’t on the Bingo Card for Anime stuff.
It’s nice to see High Tech Dragon is back on track with having Anime support….. just to remember that 88% of the Deck is still Anime exclusive.
