    End Your Opponent’s Chances with “Dark Executor Warlock”! [RD/HC01]

    A remake of a classic Dark Magician evolution comes to Rush Duel in the High-Grade Collection!

    [REQUIREMENT] Send the top card of your Deck to the GY.
    [EFFECT] This card’s name becomes “Dark Magician” during this turn, then, you can shuffle 10 Spell Cards from your GY back into your Deck. If you return them, then, you can choose 1 face-up Level 8 or lower monster your opponent controls and destroy it.

    Note: The name IS extremely close to Dark Eradicator Warlock’s Japanese Name, so I’ve decided to go with something similar.

      Can easily be summoned from hand or GY with Sevens Road Witch, Darkness Rogue, Magic Curtain, Jewel, 7 Shift, Resolve, Shining Superstar Riff, and other such cards.
      It has a decent effect that lets it be treated as DM on the field for Thousand Knives and Dark Resonance Burst. However, it can’t be treated as DM anywhere else, so it can’t be directly excavated from Deck with Curtain, summoned from the GY with Mature, nor does it boost DMG’s ATK in the GY.
      Has a rather steep cost just for a single Level 8 or below pop on your opponent’s field. While the Deck can easily mill, draw into, and activate multiple Spells in a single turn during its combos, the pop itself is questionable at best due to how many meta viable monsters are above Level 8 or have destruction immunity. Plus the set up, while feasible, isn’t ideal as his Dark Magician brethren want some Spells in the GY for their continuous effects. But it does a good enough job of shuffling back the Spells you need to back in the Deck, so it has some utility in the late game.
      The card isn’t bad but it doesn’t treat itself as DM where it counts most and you need some set up for a mediocre payoff. For 10 Spells, I would hope you can at least pop any card on the field, and not just a low leveled monster.
      This gives me some hope that we’ll get a Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon variant in Rush that is actually good.

      Ok, finally a substitute for “Dark Magician” to be able to use the exclusive Spell Cards of that Monster that are only there to get in the way of a Deck.

      This gives me hope that there will be more support for Dark Magician obviously focused on having Monsters that can take on the name of DM and DMG.
