The Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG is expanding to the Middle East.
Cards and products will be handled in the Middle East by a company who has experience in other TCGs called Dueling Area that was appointed by Konami. They’ll be getting their own official tournaments, the first of which will be a National Championship in Kuwait on June 6th.
Yes, there is a market there, too. A number of Middle Eastern language have ended up with users on the main English Yu-Gi-Oh! wiki, translating card names in Arabic and other languages and listing them unofficially. That’s not something I would have guessed if I wasn’t so entrenched in the wiki.
YGO is growing. That’s always a good thing.
