The Mitsurugi Legend
In the Age of the Gods, there were three singular blades, within which dwelt the Mitama of the Amatsugami. Should evil befall the world, men would offer up their prayers, and the gods would answer, descending unto the earth. Yet was this deed divine, or perchance a calamity? As the raging flames, borne upon the wind, take the form of a great serpent, so too is the sword that smiteth evil. Thus came the gods to be called “Mitsurugi.”

Some ruins have remained since ancient times in a certain land. Rumor has it that the ruins are overflowing with treasure chests treasure chests packed to the brim with valuables. Yet another adventurer, hearing these rumors, heads to the ruins today. However, be warned: there is another rumor about the ruins. It is said that in the depths of the ruins, evil creatures spawn new traps one after another, though whether this is true remains uncertain. All the adventurers who have barely made it back alive agree in unison: “I never want to see a treasure chest again!” There are also rumors about suspicious-looking treasure chests…Well then, I wonder what will come out of the treasure chests today. Will it be a demon or a snake? Will it be a guard dog or a dragon?

TL notes:
-The Amatsugami (天津神) are gods that descend from the divine realm in Japanese mythology. The Mitama are the spirits of the gods.
-Mameusa seems to be a name for the (coffee) bean rabbit mascot, which is present in her reference art, previously noted as “Mameusagi”.

The Mechanical Beings Granted the Title of Gods
Mechanical beings that were once granted the title of gods.
Initially born for the sake of mankind and the world, they ended up managing the world before anyone realized it. We, the Resistance, spend our days trying to return it to human hands. Our present obstacle is a machine granted the title of “Gorgon”. Because of it, our path ahead remains blocked, and many lives have been lost.
Its most dangerous aspect is the electromagnetic waves released from the gramophone in its right arm. Any machinery affected by it stops functioning. Whether we can stop it with a long-range attack it cannot perceive, or whether we conduct a raid without relying on machines, at this moment, our prospects look grim. The only saving grace is that it always appears alone; due to this peculiar ability, it must be difficult to act alongside other machines.
I may be reading too much into it, but I have often felt that it holds a clear hostility and murderous intent towards us. Other machines have a tendency to enjoy back-and-forth exchanges during battle, and they have even playfully allowed our retreat. But this one does not show this behavior, making sure to pursue the last person until the bitter end.
Finally, one of our members encountered it while carrying out a solo mission. However, it did not show any particular response and went on its way. Does it attack in response to large crowds? Or did it not recognize him as a threat to begin with?… I will add any new information as soon as I obtain it.

Lucifer set his sights on taking all the Darklords’ power for himself. He headed once again into battle against the armies of God, but unable to stand against them, he sustained incurable wounds and retreated in defeat. Who appeared in front of Lucifer, as he longed for greater power, was none other than “Condemned Darklord”, holding the “Sacred Crown”.
The man’s only goal: to take down God. The woman’s only goal: to revel in bliss. “You are one deeply perverse woman.” “Lucifer” received the Sacred Crown, and spat those words as he flew away. “Condemned Darklord”, watching his departure, whispered, “May you finally prevail this time”, as she basked in pleasure. Thus, the fluttering black wings headed towards the twilight, for a third attempt at cleaving the heavens.

For “Condemned Darklord”, the very act of rebelling against God became the ultimate delight. She approached “Lucifer” with the intention to use him…

-The Japanese name of Zilofthonia is “麗しき磁律機壊”, force-read as “Zilofthonia Gorgon”. One possible way to interpret it is “beautiful autonomous machine”, with the last two words using different kanji: the first kanji replaces “self” (自) with “magnetic” (磁), and the fourth one replaces the latter part of “machine” ([機]戒) with “destruction” (壊). The “title of god” granted to this machine is likely “Gorgon” from Greek mythology.
-The Japanese name for Forbidden Crown, much like the other “Forbidden” Quick-Play Spells, is written as “Forbidden Sacred Crown” (禁じられた聖冠).
