Exosister
An organization created to exorcise the demons tormenting mankind: “The Maidens of Salvation”. They operate in pairs, and it is said that when particularly powerful pairs exchange the “vows of sisterhood”, they gain immense power to expel demons.

Exosister Martha
“Once this battle is over, we should officially exchange the ‘vows of sisterhood'”. Those were the words that Martha told a previously immature Elis, after those around her recognized her growth. However, that promise was never fulfilled…Elis was engulfed by a profound sadness, but eventually she exchanged vows with Stella, after she offered a prayer for her: “Our evil do thou dispel”.

Exosister Returnia
The Maidens of Salvation are thrown into a fight when demons, taking the form of dragon knights, and their servants appeared out of nowhere. “Why… did such immense power emerge with no warning at all…?”. Without even having time to ponder this, Team “Lilium” is dispatched. Elis, awarded the alias of “The Exorcist Angel” after having exorcised countless demons, faces the powerful demons alongside Stella. The two of them, having exchanged vows, display an even higher power than usual, about to defeat the demon “Asmodeus”.

Exosister Betrayal
At the very moment when they were about to deliver the final strike to exorcise Asmodeus, none other than Martha herself, whom they had been searching for all this time, emerged from inside the armor. Martha allowed Asmodeus to possess her in order to test the current power of the Maidens of Salvation. After having disappeared, one swing of her spear was enough to overwhelm both of them, and she points her spear towards Stella. The dearest person to her elder sister was now hurting her…At the depths of sadness and despair, a single tear trails down her cheek.

Exosister Karmael
Something that resembles Martha’s appearance when she wields “the power of the envoy that ascertains the god that protects the planet of Ares”. Even in her original form, she is supposed to have a power exceeding that of “Mikailis”, but this power knows no limits.

TL notes:
-“Maidens of Salvation” (救乙女, kyuu/sukui otome) is a term used repeatedly in the Exosister lore, force-read as “Exorsister”, like the Japanese name of the theme.
-The term “Vows of Sisterhood” (姉妹の契り, shimai no chigiri) also appears in the lore. The Japanese term means “vows of sisterhood”, but “sisters” is force read as “soeurs”, which is French for “sisters”.
-“Our evil do thou dispel” is one possible translation for “我らの悪を去らせ” (warera no aku wo sarase). This is a line in the Latin hymn Ave Maris Stella, appropriately cited by Exosister Stella.
-“The Exorcist Angel(s)” (退魔天使, taima tenshi) is the Japanese name of the Exosister Tactical-Try Deck.
-“The planet of Ares” is an editorial choice from the time of the VBEX2. The original term is “火の星” (hi no hoshi), or the planet of fire. This would be a poetical name for planet Mars, hence choosing “Ares”.
