Note: This might be a play on “Sweeping For Mines” or “Blue Waters” for Soukai, though Chouryuu can mean a ‘Trend’, so this might be referring in part to a ‘blue ocean strategy’ based on that and the artwork, i.e. trying to seize an opportunity in an untapped field or market, versus a red ocean strategy which is an already crowded market but I might be projecting things.

Why does it look like a Fusion card despite not being one?
Rather than it resembling Fusion, this card’s background has more in common with the stormy oceans depicted on other Fish and Sea Serpent related cards, namely the Abyss Maximums, Seastorm of Iruqua, and Big Umi among others.
The red and blue ocean motifs were explained above. Whatever resemblance this has to Polymerization or its variants is purely coincidental.

I too, love using a Rush Duel card to cycle level 7 or higher monsters in a Shark deck where the highest level is 5.
Should have been in the tcg but Moray of greed is just as good if not better I suppose.
