Answering the crucial question of who wears the pants in the relationship
The V-JUMP Magazine has posted the reference arts used for Raye and Roze for the upcoming anime, The Chronicles:
“A story of a girl that enters into the battlefield, wishing for peace”
From their debut in the pack sold on February 2018, their story has been told in this magazine and across other publications.
There will be plenty of prominent scenes to be animated like the buffing through armaments, each Link Monster and the “Sky Striker Maneuvers”.
A fitting story to be introduced as the top batter.
Necktie: “Necktie pattern”
Sky Striker Ace – Raye
Designs modified for the anime!
The secret reference art illustrations are revealed!!
Sky Striker Ace – Roze
Top right: “Gloves”
Top middle: “Innerwear: shorts and tights”
Bottom left: “Side view”
TL note #1: The greenish note in the middle is unreadable due to the contrast. It is likely that it says “敵国マーク” (emblem of the enemy nation), much like the reference art for Roze in the Card Game Artworks book.
TL note #2: The note on Roze’s hat mentions that the crest is drawn using color tracing, but the context is somewhat vague: In terms of storytelling, a “引き” is a “hook” at the end of the page to make the reader interested in the next page, next chapter, etc. This “hook” could be referring to the teaser where Raye and Roze are fighting.

Well, guess we can mark April as Sky Striker now.
I’m really surprised that people thought we were getting Branded alongside Sky Striker in April when they made it clear that Sky Striker would launch first (and will likely last 3 months)
The only thing confirmed is that the next OCG Core Pack would have both Sky Striker and Branded support as cross promotion.

That’s not true at all, on the contrary they did not say which Chronicles themes will be in the set.
They showed Branded alongside Strikers in the initial announcement and even made official posters of both, something that would make little sense if they were not going to feature until July. Of course they’re not going to be alongside since they said the episodes are monthly, but it would be sensible to suppose that Branded is episode 2.
Considering that Go Rush is probably gonna to end this year and there wasn’t a new Rush anime announced at Jump Festa that probably means Chronicles is gonna take up the new anime slot.
Actually, GX Remaster is the one that would take the Anime Slot.
Chronicles is Monthly Animated Shorts (I’m not making this up: it’s the official information revealed by Konami). Therefore, there will only be 1 or 2 Shorts per month.
GO RUSH!! More like GO PUKE 🤮🤮🤮
@MD stands for Maxx “C” Duel aww boo hoo is the meanie Rush anime making you cry awww
