I think Futsu is meant to be Genbu, the Japanese version of the Black Tortoise. And we know Ame is Orochi.
actually Futsu’s dragon form is supposed to be the creature that Emperor Jimmu had slain upon receiving the Futsu-no-Mitama
I still want new Venom support to celebrate the Year of the Snake 🐍.
If the card art wasn’t enough to prove Mitsurugi could have easily been the first FIRE Ritual deck.

You wanting to call an archetype where over half the monsters are WIND including 2 Ritual monsters as a FIRE Ritual deck is pretty desperate.
