[OCG] [Philippines] Yu-Gi-Oh Weekly Tournament Results (January 31 – February 02)

Welcome back, it’s your neighborhood head-crushing OCG jadge person here again, this time bringing something a bit new to the feast. If all goes well, and if this gets received well by you guys, our valued readers, then this may become a weekly thing. I humbly thank the Organization for the opportunity to somehow showcase information about the Tournament scene in our country. I will be presenting articles featuring Decklists that won our weekly Official Tournaments in the Philippines. Don’t worry, as this is just our pilot article for the potential series, you’ll only see a bunch of words for explanations now. Next time, there’s gonna be less. So, enjoy.

A Short Enlightening Introduction:

Yu-Gi-Oh Weekly Sanctioned Tournaments in the Philippines are done in simultaneous mini-tournaments called “Pods”. Each Pod will be conducted in Single Elimination format (unless circumstances arise where it is not possible). Up to two Pods are held at once due to venue restrictions, which can usually have either 8 or 16 participants each. Six to eight Pods can be held during Saturdays in the “main venue”, while some separate several Pods are held during Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays on different locations.

The Philippines follows the OCG Forbidden and Limited Lists, with additional restrictions imposed by Konami Asia, forbidding the use of DT03 to DT14 cards that have not been printed outside Duel Terminal Products.

*Card names used in the Decklists will be TCG names as much as possible. If none exists, Yu-Gi-Oh Wikia names will be employed.*
*Much thanks to our admin Dan for creating the cool spoiler tags.*

Decklists shown below are just some of the winners in our events. As the choice to submit a Decklist for this article is optional, we respect the other winners’ decision if wish to withhold information.

SkullBuster

Being generally known as a fastidious yet condescending lifeform, SkullBuster usually lives a solitary nocturnal lifestyle, feeding on hefty amounts of chips and sweets and sodas he can grab within his reach. If the need arises, he would go out and slither to the nearest convenience store for nourishment.
