Remember when Rush Duels was gonna introduce new ideas to the franchise… I miss those days.

I hate to admit it but you may have a point. Duel links has thrown a wrench into the game. The main reason they won’t make new summoning types is because they don’t want to pay the voice actors to come back and say new lines. If you look at the voice lines for the rush characters the only summoning types the mention are existing ones. Unless Konami is just holding onto those it looks like we are just getting the same game but with slightly different rules.
