Deck Commentary
A Deck that uses “Kongrade, Prime Primate of Konglomerates” from “Chaos Impact”.
Add “Kongrade, Prime Primate of Konglomerates” from your Deck to your hand with “Subterror Succession”, then send it from the hand to the GY with “Dark Fusion” and “Dark Calling” to use it as a Fusion Material for “Evil HERO Dark Gaia” or “Evil HERO Malicious Bane”.
“Kongrade, Prime Primate of Konglomerates” can be Special Summoned in face-down position via:
• Its first effect
• From the GY by “Burst Reverse”
• From being banished by “Premature Return”
All allowing you to use its second effect.
– Knight of Hanoi
[Key Point]
Use “Kongrade, Prime Primate of Konglomerates” in all sorts of ways!
[Explanation]
The concept is use “Kongrade, Prime Primate of Konglomerates” to the fullest.
It’s a Deck tuned to work with the “Subterror”s (also EARTH monsters) who have face-down Defense Position related effects, and “Dark Calling” which brings out “Evil HERO” cards.
Make a note of “Subterror Succession” (used to add “Kongrade, Prime Primate of Konglomerates” to the hand) is a Trap Card, when your opponent activates an effect that send a monster from the hand or Deck to the GY, chain “Subterror Succession” to add “Kongrade, Prime Primate of Konglomerates”, then Special Summon that “Kongrade, Prime Primate of Konglomerates”.
If only your “Kongrade, Prime Primate of Konglomerates” is targeted by an opponent’s effect or as the target of an attack, you can use the effect of “Suberror Nemesis Defender” to change the target.
Since “Kongrade, Prime Primate of Konglomerates” has 3000 ATK, it will ensure whatever you Fusion Summon for “Evil HERO Dark Gaia” will have a ton of ATK.
Also, since “Subterror Behemoth Stalagmo” is a Rock monster and “Subterror Behemoth Speleogeist” is a Fiend monster, the resulting Fusion Summon will be especially strong.
Otherwise, use the 3rd effect of “Borrelguard Dragon” to switch a face-down Defense Position to face-up Defense Position.
A monster destroyed by the second effect of “Kongrade, Prime Primate of Konglomerates” can be Special Summoned by it, albeit its effects will be negated.

A “Gem-Knight” Deck that uses cards from “Chaos Impact”.
Use “Box of Friends” and “Rescue Rabbit” to Special Summon 2 Level 4 monsters to Xyz Summon “Granite Loyalist”.
And, with the effect of “Granite Loyalist” to Special Summon “Kongrade, Prime Primate of Konglomerates” from your hand in face-dwn Defense Position, letting you attempt to use its 2nd effect.
By using the 3rd effect of “Borrelguard Dragon”, you can flip “Kongrade, Prime Primate of Konglomerates” face-up into face-up Defense Position even during your opponent’s turn, and if a card is destroyed by “Kongrade, Prime Primate of Konglomerates”, you can activate the 1st effect of “Hakai Sou-Oh-Shin Raigou”, and destroy another card.
– Knight of Hanoi
[Key Point]
Expand your tactics with Fusion, Xyz and Link Summons!
[Explanation]
A Deck that uses various Rock monsters, as well as Fusion Summons, Xyz Summons and Link Summons, all centered around “Gem-Knight” monsters.
The Xyz Monster “Granite Loyalist” can add various Rock Monsters, such as “Kongrade, Prime Primate of Konglomerates”, “Block Dragon”, “Doki Doki”, et al from your Deck to your hand.
Also, there’s the Rank 4 “Wind-Up Zenmaister” who can change a target monster to face-down Defense Position, and then during the End Phase, that monster will be flipped face-up during the End Phase, allowing you multiple chances to use the 2nd effect of “Kongrade, Prime Primate of Konglomerates”.
Being able to think about how to use the cards like this is really quite fascinating.
The destruction effect of “Kongrade, Prime Primate of Konglemerates” works well with “Borrelguard Dragon” and “Hakai Sou-Oh-Shin Raigou”, but you can also choose to use it with “Linkmail Archfiend” (via Fusion and Xyz Monsters), using these Link Monsters each for their own purposes.
Since you’ll be banishing so many monsters with “Rescue Rabbit”, “Gigantes”, “Block Dragon”, and “Gem-Knight Fusion”, you’ll have many many chances to make use of “Storm Dragon’s Return”.
Specifically, with “Rescue Rabbit”, you have the means of activating its effect multiple times, Special Summoning 2 Normal Monsters with the same name from your Deck, which you can then shuffle back into the Deck with the 2nd effect of “Gem-Knight Phantom Quartz”.
