Is Lancea the father of ice barrier dragons?
Love for the ancestor of the ice barrier dragons to be based on Brionac but with Gungnir’s red aura, I was kinda sick of Trishula. Not much impressed by the trap artwork instead because their and Dragunity spell/traps have already some of the most gorgeous arts in the game.
Seeing how Konami actually gave a damn with Terminal World still infuriates me on how they handled Selection 5.
The new Lv10 Synchro lets you play the old, walking floodgates so I think this support is the best you could do for Ice Barrier

Oh hey, my cac con. trap had the same thing. Oh hey, the art budget looks a lot more generous compared to the structure deck. I think this the first time I’ve seen a single card that can both properly and improperly summon from the extra deck.
Cute and adorable! MOTIVATIONAL speaker for the ice barriers can get you that 4th token to reach that magic number 9.

general Raiho (opponent must discard to activate effects), Medium of the Ice Barrier (Opponent can only activate 1 spell/trap per turn), Warlock of the Ice Barrier (anti-spell on legs) about to become a SERIOUS issue, now all of them can be summoned from the deck on the opponent’s turn.

Great support. Although continuous trap seems underwhelming but it still has nice combo with general wayne, speaker or the new one: georgius since they have ability to special summon themselves from the hand.
I kinda wished that Lancea changing battle position is like book of moon, but okay this seems to balance the effects, I guess however this could do a “weak” lock with speaker since opponent defense position cannot be changed. That floating effect kinda can troll opponent twice if you summon lvl 11 Trish with Lancea 2nd effect, 3 cards on opponent’s field will be banished and if they somehow destroy it, then you can SS the OG Trish with 3300 ATK, negating all opponent monsters + halving their ATK permanently. lol.
Combine this engine with Icejade/umi and you have a very strong deck.
