    A new Forbidden/Limited List has been announced for Master Duel. This list will apply from July 11th (time zones applying):

    Newly Forbidden:
    Catapult Turtle

    Kaiser Colosseum

    Newly Limited:
    Summon Limit

    Newly Semi-Limited:
    Purrelyly
    Rescue-ACE Air Lifter

    Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS – Sky Thunder

    Kashtira Birth

    As usual, by dismantling cards whose maximum number of copies has been reduced after the implementation of the list will grant bonus crafting points until August 8th (time zones applying).

      Hate when they banned a card that can be only pulled from a Legacy Pack. Meaning the card is completely wasted space in the trunk since you can’t dismantle it.

      First actual bans since a good while iirc.

      Turtle ban means Tachyon incoming soon? Kaiser ban doesn’t necessarily mean Tenpai soon because it was heavily played already in random decks, but Turtle is practically for Tachyon.

        Tachyon still seems too early, but they did add some OCG cards before the TCG got them so I won’t say it’s impossible. Tenpai is a bit more likely since it’s a little older and it’d line up with how they usually preemptively hit certain cards (like King Calamity made forbidden a month or so before Centur-Ion is likely to drop)

        Turtle was already used in Horus ftk, searchable by Ice Barrier (the trap card).

        Duelist of Brilliance came out just a month ago. I’m thinking this is just some sort of homogenizing between the formats. Why they did it for bans and not other movements, I couldn’t tell you.

      I love how Konami is so proactive at shutting down a FTK long before the card that made it possible was introduced into the game.

      This just reminds me Panik is the only Duelist from Duelist Kingdom arc that hasn’t had work done on his deck yet. Need me some Castle retrain. Castle of Darkening Reality. Activates a “Yami” Field Spell from your hand or Deck on summon and is supported by a retrain of King of Yami Makai. That would be nice.

        Bonz is crying in the corner because literally nobody remembers about him, even if his damn boss monster in actual game was remade to be support for Castle Of Dark Illusions, for some reasons.
        I guess we can kinda count Pumprincess and Jack-o-Bolan? One is supposed to be daughter of Pumpking and other is literally his hollowed out corpse possessed by some spirit thing, lmao. Not really related mechanically, tho.

      Zeus at 2 is the funniest thing they could have done with it, I want more entirely useless semi limits

      Also still only consistency hits to Snake-Eyes, kinda sucks

      Purely players would be unhappy of this banlist, one of their cards hitted again lol. Surprised Noir isn’t banned yet lol

        Apparently there’s a FTK with the new Tachyon support that tributes a 16,000 ATK with Turtle monster for 8,000 damage. The “mystery” is why they don’t ban the 16,000 ATK card.

        The combo is to summon Draglubion and another Rank 8, use Drag to Summon N100 which grows to 17000 ATK, making Turtle an ftk. This was already used by Horus decks in MD, with Turtle being searchable by Ice Barrier.

        The upcoming Tachyon support makes this a lot more consistent, since they have a 1-card combo that summons the 2 Rank 8s, and Seventh Tachyon is another Turtle searcher.

      Why would you unlimit Kash birth, but leave unicorn? Kash is played in most of the meta decks. Just hit unicorn already.

      Should have banned Noir lol. Noir’s card destruction effects are powerful, especially, if Noir has more than 5 cards as material. Noir’s 1,300 atk may sound not much, it’s her respectable 2,800 def and her effects that is making her annoying

      I’m calling for a boycott on all konami games. Yugoih is broken mechanics s galore. When the game comes down to a coin flip its not a game anymore. When someone can consistently lock the board down no matter if he goes first or 2nd there’s something wrong with thay in standard. Why have a ban list at all when the coin flip determines the winner 90 percent of the time. The boycott worked for bud light they lost millions and changed CEO s. The game needs a reboot that’s how broken all the mechanics are now.
