Ideally, I’d want more mitsu support that hard locks the deck into reptiles to be able to play it pure. One million more years of sky striker support. It’d be funny if X-saber gets the best batch of new cards.

I was still very puzzled about why the heck would they pick X-saber alongside the other 2 much more competent and recent ones, but when you think of it as the nostalgia tax, it all fits in.

PD: I found really fun how the box has Hyunlei and Raye that are the waifus of their archtypes and then a fricking Snake because Mitsurugi doesn’t have a waifu XD

That makes sense. I was kinda wondering what I missed that something like Gottoms wasn’t on the cover for X-Saber.
I’m not sure what’s the point of putting X-Saber as nostalgia bait in this if they won’t even put an old X-Saber that old players could recognize in a shop.
I would love the Alt Arts of Raye & Roze from the Battles of Legend: Terminal Revenge to be in this set
It would have made more sense to include Lunalight (even if the sword symbolism is more indirect), but I suppose they didn’t want to give away three fully viable archetypes in a single product
Hopefully we get more mitsurugi support a wosu ritual level 4 monster or something of field spell it really is nice for the tcg to finally get a solid exclusive thank you konami for real.
