What drugs were they on!? I mean it’s funny, but what where they on
This is what replaced the real card game anime, lmao.
Enjoy, adult kiddos.
We will
Still better than Tennis and Quiz dudes from GX, the weird card guessing match from 5ds and entire Arc V and Vrains, lmao
Lmao 5Ds getting stray shots because of a single episode
okay now hold on, namesky, im as tired of people whining about shows they don’t watch as you, but lets not get it twisted.
whimsy is a good thing. its good for series to not be brooding and depressing 24/7 and give the characters moments of levity and joy. it grounds them and makes root for their happiness.
the tennis duel was a nice punctuation after a heavy character focused episode with chazz and bastion. the concentration duel, while goofy, gave Clark a memorable personality and shook up the formula as opposed to repeating the standard.
vague hatred of the later shows aside, we should be enjoying YGO, not getting mad the second it tries to do something different or odd. after all this series started with a boy possessed by a pharaoh killing people with connect 4, it has an inherently goofy edge to it.
Zexal has such beautiful animation. Sevens and Go Rush both look cheap as a Mexican Bootleg figure.
Considering the “real” card game pretty much cannot be made into anime anymore due to today era meta necessitating the anime to promote overly complex cards that don’t suit the anime…….
You better enjoy the current anime too, because you’re not getting the old one back :p
Kinda funny how the anime with a death count higher than ZeXal (and a seemingly permanent one at that), concepts equally as dark as YGO Shadow games and an entire arc dedicated to the characters dealing with their fleeting mortality is the “childish” one.
You can bet that someone, somewhere
has Dyson Sphere as his waifu
This episode starts off comical but has a very sad ending with Zuwijo revealing he didn’t want to be brought back to life and wants to die.
That is the impression he has been giving ever since he returned. He went from being content for having the chance to duel one last time against Yudias before his end to being brought to life again, resigned to being a pawn for someone else’s goals due to not having goals of his own anymore.
It’s also a little outrageous to claim all of ARC-V and Vrains were bad. The Standard Dimension arc in ARC-V is one of the best ygo arcs ever.
no joke Arc-V episodes 1-51 (with the exception of that Pierre Quiz 2 parter) are some of the most consistent quality episodes of YGO. its such a shame that it came out when DSoD was going on because losing the anime director put in a 40 episode limbo it just never recovered from.
ARC-V never lost its director, DSOD basically had a completely unrelated staff. It always had its director.
What happened with ARC-V is its head writer seemed to get more and more weirdly belligerent for reasons no one can quite explain.
Man I’m half tempted to watch these raw since the subs were delayed. It’s understandable since the team got hit by Milton but Go Rush has been so good
