Well, it’s safe to say that every member of the GO RUSH’s Trio was an Antagonist/Villain at some point (only Season 1 is the only one where none of them turn evil)
And well, Yuhi and Yuamu proved that Leo and Luna could have done more in 5Ds.
Well, the writing team absolutely could have done more with Leo and Luna in the 5D’s Anime. But Yuhi and Yuamu don’t really “prove” that. considering they’re different “brackets” of characters, so to speak.
Yuhi, Yuamu, and Yudias all took turns being protagonist, deuteragonist, and tritagonist throughout the show. So them doing more was simply a reflection of the roles they were written in/for. Leo and Luna would be more accurately described along the lines of “main supporting characters”, in contrast to what their in-show status as Signers could lead some to believe. This doesn’t mean the writers couldn’t have done more with them; but it does mean that they’re not in the top billing among 5D’s hero/protagonist cast compared to Yuhi and Yuamu in Go Rush.
