This is obviously a reprint that prepare us for the new support that this card will receive. I wonder if it will be just a fusion monster to use in the generic “specter of heaven’s end” pack or they will make a new archetype base on this monster.
If there was a new Archetype, I think they would have announced it too. Just mentioning that Contact Fusion Monster is coming for Specter of Heaven’s End and her companion.
I do think there is some Zombie support in “Dark Matter of Phantoms”, but I think they will be single or generic cards for Zombie.
And well… Specter of Heaven’s End is the replacement for Legend Magician for some Decks, it was even used before the arrival of that LIGHT Spellcaster.
What exactly it will support? The art looks like a zombieesque, but oh well… Probadly a generic zombie support at least. New archetype seems a good time to see it, as I do wanted to see new archetypes out in general anyway. Preferably fusion, there has not been a very good playable zombie decks since Shiras and Mayakashi. And both are synchro focused.
Does not have to be meta-worthy, since over 90% of all archetypes in Yu-Gi-Oh! are not metas, most of them are rogues. There might be another rogue-worthy archetypes coming out soon. Might be hilarious to play, with existing cards like, Zombie World or something
