Can we go back to previous translation based on JP names and actual common sense? This is cringe, almost as cringe as when you were pushing spam of AI-upscaled images as articles.
Unlike other cards whose Japanese names are entirely different from their English counterparts, these cards do not necessarily have a different name in Japanese and are merely a translation difference.
While Rainac makes sense with some of his support such as Arrive or Warcry, it makes less sense with others such as Lightning or Dead or A Linac.
In all matters, “Rainakku” is only funny in Japanese.
Transamu carried with it a play on words with the cards in the archetype. mainly one seen best in “tranSAMU RAInac”
This is removed by an overall pointless alteration, as RUSH is currently a Japanese only spin-off and such doesn’t need a translation change like that.
Yuki, rush duel has been part of Duel Links for about a year now. Only the physical cards are OCG-exclusive for now
What about the other two weapons shown below of buster lilac?
A bow and a lance
Nebula fusion is the big one this set since it facilitates all the Rainac fusions and gives you more Fusion spells in the deck so you’re not having to dig for them as much. A lot of fusion decks going forward will probably get an archetypal spell asap unless they have easy Contact options.
Not much else to say besides the localized names being dumb. Even if they lose the Samu-rai pun there’s no reason why it shouldn’t be Rainac over Linac
In the meantime Void Dust Fusion is still unprinted. A shame too since Voidverg and Dark Matter have both standard and Contact Fusions that are probably easier to summon with Void Dust Fusion.
I feel like they don’t want to give too much love/favoritism to DARK Galaxy since they have a bunch of Fusion Monsters that could be too much trouble to handle/control if they were easy to bring onto the field.
That’s my explanation for why Void Dust Fusion and the recent Dark Matter Mist Fusion aren’t going to be printed anytime soon (plus Contact Fusion has partially replaced Zwijo’s Deck’s playstyle)
