What is Clash of the EACs?
‘CLASH’ is a returning format for my videos, in which I feature a Simulated Tournament: 16 decks enter, best-of-3 matches, with siding. If a strategy loses their match, it is eliminated; win, and it moves on to fight another winner. If you’ve been a long-time reader of the site, this format is a successor to Clash of the TCG WPs and my previous Creative Deck Strategy Showdown videos, just modernized with a new look-and-feel. One additional change for this Clash is to feature multiple groups in one-post, due to feedback from last go-round!
For this Clash, I narrowed it down to 16 archetypes/strategies directly supported by at least 1 Extended Art Card (EAC), also known as Over-Frames, to duke it out to see who comes out on top. As far as deckbuilding goes, there were no restrictions on only using archetypal cards; however, I tried to stick to a common rule that the primary win condition must aim to utilize the in-theme cards.
