I will admit it is nice to get a product in English released as the same day as the Japanese version instead of waiting several months. Kinda like how the Pokémon games are now.
Can they just NOT screencap the anime and plaster it on the cards? That was the great thing about YGO compared to other TCGs
MTG and Pokemon weren’t even devoid of this ilk and now because of the animation chronicles, suddenly we’re getting screencap galore.
FYI anyone telling me the card art is often taken from the manga or anime, are wrong because they more often than not redrew the background or redid the art altogether, especially the horrid GX card art.
I mean… it’s a blatant cross promotion with Yu-Gi-Oh! Chronicles anime so sure as hell it will use the same images as it. I don’t know what you expect here, both this and these shorts were made specifically with this in mind.

I think it’s pretty unlikely that this is a screenshot. They’re all posing together in very card art ways.
You’re allowed to not like the new artstyle but that doesn’t make it a screenshot.
Albaz chronicle deck? Absolute banger. Brought back a deck only disliked by those with severe brain damage.

Charmers have been a favourite since middle school gonna be nice to pick this up just for the sake of nostalgia, the branded deck though is rapidly becoming a favourite i am worried about the x-sabers though as i used to play them in school pre xyz era and they sucked
They didn’t suck in Synchro era you were probably just not great at it because you were young and in school. They’ve gotten less good since then but pre-Xyz they were pretty good.

I’ll be honest, I could not give two craps about charmers as a deck, that’s not why I like the archetype.
I wish they’d remember Dharc and Lyna exist. They always get the short end of the stick.
Okay. Konami? How about you give something equally interesting to the LIGHTSWORNS? How about making an animated chronicle about them and giving them updated art based off their anime? The Albaz/Ecclesia deck barely had any anime artworks used in said deck. I think they deserve some love too besides the three new support cards
Your Lightsworn deck is already playable.
Even with this new charmer support, it still will struggle against Lightsworn.
There are other more worthy decks out there that need recognition and legacy support.
