In the beginning, there was Chaos.
The first Core Booster for fiscal year 2026 will be “CHAOS ORIGINS” and it will go on sale April 25th, 2026.
This pack contains “Over Frame Cards” for many existing themes and with this Pack alone you’ll be able to build Decks of brand new themes. Also, cards related to the “Yu-Gi-Oh! CARD GAME THE CHRONICLES” Promotional Animated Shorts that are streaming to great review, as well as cards that buff existing popular past themes also appear.
Also for the first print run, Boxes come with a “+1 Expansion Pack” which contain cards that are compatible with the included themes as well as general-purpose cards that can be used in a wide variety of Decks, and these cards come in higher rarities and some in different artworks, bringing a variety of expansions in the way you can construct your Deck.

They’re just releasing rival boxes, think about it, it’s not going to be Dark Magician or Chaos Soldier, it has to be a rival that has to do with the origin of chaos. Hmmm, I’m thinking of Kite because of his battle against Mizael or maybe Cyber Dark, but it has to be a direct rival.
It has Origins in the name alluding to the original series.
Next year is Zexal 15th anniversary, I think were more likely to get a Galaxy/Photon structure deck.

I personally think this is more Zarc support. There is so much untapped potential for his cards that it’s nuts. We got Leo Akaba’s Pendulum Ruler in the Rivals set. Maybe here we’ll get more Zarc stuff and stuff for Ray finally? Maybe even the four En cards?

BLS is in dire need of modern support, but even if its just the Chaos series in general getting support that would be great too since its one of my favorites jn the game
Ok in retrospect not having a DARK ritual chaos soldier after all this time is silly though the same can be said of Buster Blader, Mammoth Graveyard, etc.
I’m still waiting on that BEUD Mammoth Graveyard fusion. Plus Mammoth Graveyard being a Dinosaur instead of a Zombie was always wired to me.

I know it’s wishful thinking and some people hate it when their brought up but I hope we are getting some fusion focused ancient gear support and a few new fusion’s.
Should be further Dark Magician support and rightfully so. Unless the archetype has a Structure deck announced that I’ve missed, it’s due for a full upgrade like it’s counterpart received in Structure Deck: Advent of the Eyes of Blue.
Maybe Chaos Emperor Dragon will finally get its proper WIND Ritual Version.
Here me out, this is going to be Dark Magic Support focused on his “Origin” in the millennium arc of dm. Mostly likely leaning toward a Ritual Still of play.
I’d rather MoBC get its own dedicated support like BLS got instead of more false versions treated as Dark Magician.
