      The materials are generic, but it’s also the first Rush fusion monster to have a explicit restriction on the summoning method as far as I know.

        Yes, this is a step above Fusion monsters that must be Fusion Summoned like the Elemental HEROs and FHD, but they can be summoned with any number of cards, both now and in the future, provided they Fusion Summon,
        Chaos Sentinel can only be Fusion Summoned with two specific cards and nothing else. It is the most generic Fusion in the game by far. Sentinel Officer doesn’t even have the same stats as the original, unlike the other Chaos Galaxy counterparts, so Konami was very careful NOT to make Officer as either material.
        Naturally this is also why the effect is very niche and doesn’t generate immediate advantage unlike other Fusions. Delirium Larva has this exact effect and is the second most generic Fusion in the game, but she also has an additional Continuous Effect on top of this one.
        Konami is making a habit that any easy to summon Fusion must have a Continuous Effect, and the easiest ones to cheese out must have weaker Continuous Effects and even harsher restrictions.

        The treatment of generic Fusion Monsters is curious in Rush Duels.

        – Either they have bad Stats or an awkward Level that makes them vulnerable to various things.
        – Or they have simple, but effective Effects. Not unfair.

        I think the case for powerful generic Fusion Monsters is in Delirium, but that Deck is locked into Insect (and, unlike Praime, they are not as splashable)

      Why is it saying Extra Deck? i mean they are Spell/Traps… unleast… we are having some Monsters that turn into Equip Spells soon

      Despite being generic, this is the first case in Rush Duels where a Fusion Monster is limited to only being Fusion Summoned with specific cards.

      I wonder if, in the future, Delirium will receive that treatment: its Fusion Monsters will only be able to Fusion Summon with its Delirium-centric cards.

      Either way, this Fusion Monster confirms that we won’t have Ritual Monsters in this Pack.

        If Rituals were meant to be in this pack, they would have been announced in V JUMP by now. But now I’m curious if Burst Oblivion is card 040.

      it’s stupid this card to have generic materials…it obviously the fusion of bright and shadow sentinel

        You could say the same thing about Delirium’s Fusion Monsters: most of them are just improved Delirium Silbyx, but they don’t use Silbyx as a specific Material.
