Let’s experiment on the new TCG-WP Cards!

Strategic Summary:
Welcome back for another CDP, and this time I’m taking on ‘pure’ Myutant with the help of the new SUDA World Premiere cards. The Myutant theme may have two Fusion monsters, but the main boss monsters of the archetype live in the Main Deck, as Myutant Mist, Myutant Beast, and Myutant Arsenal can each be brought out by the Main Deck WATER/Psychic monsters: Myutant M-05, Myutant ST-46, or Myutant Mutant. To do so, each tributes itself and then banishes a card, typically from the hand, to determine which boss will be brought out for its effects. This combines well with things like the Ghoti monsters – both of the Level 2 Tuners included in my build today love to return right back to the field during the next Standby Phase! It also combos extremely well with the new SUDA stuff, so let’s get into that now.
First up in the support wave is Minimalian, a Level 4 WATER Psychic that Special Summons itself from the hand by banishing another card from your hand. Once on the field, it can banish any Level 4 or lower monster you control to Special Summon one with the same Type/Attribute, but 1 or 2 levels lower. While this can work with other things, its best use is to summon either M-05 or ST-46 from the deck by banishing itself. On the other hand, we also received Shadow Severing Strike, a Continuous Spell that triggers when a card is banished from the hand or field to activate a monster effect. Banishing a Spell is the best effect when going first, as you’ll get to draw 2 cards, but it can also be used as disruption during the opponent’s turn if you banish a Trap with your Myutant bosses! If you happen to banish Severing Strike itself to activate a monster effect, it adds another banished card to hand. This brings us to our last new card, the Continuous Trap D.D. Post. This Trap just places itself on the field when banished, plus it gives you an effect to banish a card from the hand or GY to recycle a banished card, something that the Myutant archetype desperately needed to compete in the grind game.
As for the rest of the deck, well, it’s all about making this function as efficiently as possible. Whether it is the Nemeses engine to combo with your banished monsters to lock the opponent out of the duel with either Thunder Dragon Colossus or Archnemeses Protos, or it is the additional Myutant cards to add disruption and consistency, this deck has plenty of power at its disposal. It just comes down to us to make the most of it!

Here’s a deck idea, a Yubel deck, either by itself, paired with Evil HERO and/or Destiny HERO, or paired with whatever archetype. But the main idea is to use “Destiny HERO – Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer” to ladder climb Yubel to her Ultimate Nightmare form
– DPE destroys Yubel with its effect
– Terror Incarnate destroys DPE during end phase
– DPE revives during you next turn and destroys Terror Incarnate which summons Ultimate Nightmare
Not hard to implement, but why do that. Cuz the evolved will be bricky and it won’t make much of a difference tbh. Compared to having a normal yubel on field.
