Strategic Summary:

With the new Fossil support cards being revealed for Premium Pack 2021, it’s time to update an old build of combining the Fossil archetype with the Nemeses archetype! Instead of my previous build which covered the hole with Code Talkers, this approach fits Adamancipators in to support both of the new Rocks that Fossils bring to the table. For example, Flint Cragger (YGOrg Translation) immediately sends a ‘Fossil’ Fusion monster to the GY when Special Summoned – giving you a search or spot removal depending on what you need at the time. Speaking of the fusions, all of the plays are still possible through the unique Fossil Fusion spell card that uses materials in either players’ GY. It all culminates in two extremely powerful boss monsters, each for a different endgame situation. Fossil Dragon Skullgios swaps the ATK/DEF of a monster it is battling, plus it deals double battle damage and piercing. On the other hand, the new endgame threat is Fossil Machine Skull Convoy (YGOrg Translation), which can attack up to 3 of your opponent’s monsters per turn, while reducing their ATK by their DEF. Beyond its bosses, this specific build relies upon a rock-solid core surrounding Rock Band Xenoguitar, getting your Fossil support cards or Adamanicaptors to the GY with ease. Rock on and excavate this refreshed hybrid strategy!
