Strategic Summary:

Welcome back for another Creative Deck Profile, and this time we’re racking up the damage with the new and improved Destiny HERO support from Beyond the Brave! First up in this new cast of characters, we have Destiny HERO – Death Dogma (YGOrg Translation), a Level 8 HERO that can Special Summon itself from the hand or GY by banishing 3 DARK and/or Warrior monsters from the GY, and after you do, it fortells a burst of 2000 damage to hit the opponent during their next Standby Phase. Combine that with the original Destiny HERO Dogma, and these two HEROes will leave your opponent with a mere 2000 precious LP to their name, perfect for an errant Gravedigger’s Trap Hole to seal the win. To make all of this possible, the theme also got a new starter in Destiny HERO – Doom Liege (YGOrg Translation), a Level 3 option that tutors your new Clock Tower Prison City – Dark City (YGOrg Translation) by setting up your GY with any Destiny HERO of your choice, such as Destiny HERO – Malicious. As for their new Field Spell, this is perfect for spamming the board, especially if you search D – Burst (YGOrg Translation) then destroy it to get both a draw and 2 Special Summoned Destiny HEROs to add to your Liege!

Alright, now that you got the base combo, let’s talk about how this deck builds other win conditions upon that initial concept. First up is what Destiny HEROes have always done well – sit on Destiny HERO – Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer. This Level 8 threat destroys a card on each field every turn, while also passively reducing the ATK of your opponents’ monsters. Then, Destiny HERO can easily tech in a small Masked HERO and Mask Change engine, giving you unfettered access to multiple Masked HERO Dark Law, greatly restricting the gameplan of most decks. Finally, you can even turn to a boost from Winged Kuriboh Sabatiel LV10 (YGOrg Translation), a monster that gives you access to any Polymerization or Fusion Spell, such as Fusion Destiny or Instant Fusion. If you choose the latter, it can give you a free Elemental HERO Clay Guardian (YGOrg Translation), which not only leads to a free Elemental HERO Shadow Mist, but also some potential burn damage to whittle your opponent that much closer to 0 LP. Make your opponent feel the burn with these anti-HEROes!
