Deck Commentary
A “Subterror” Deck that uses “Goddess Urd’s Verdict” from Extra Pack 2019.
By using the second effect of “Subterror Guru” and the third effect of “Subterror Behemoth Ultramafus” to flip your opponent’s monsters to face-down Defense Position, while the effect of “Red Reboot” Sets your opponent’s Trap Cards, allowing you to banishing your opponent’s cards with the second effect of “Goddess Urd’s Verdict”.
Since Link Monsters cannot be in face-down Defense Position, use “Crackdown” to take control of your opponent’s monsters, while also using “Gnomaterial” to prevent your opponent from bringing out more monsters.
Also, the second effect of “Goddess Urd’s Verdict”, if you fail to properly guess the name of the targeted card, you have to banish a card you control, so it works well to banish a monster your opponent owns that you took control of via “Crackdown”.
POINT: Anti-Link Monster Strategies
“Subterror” Decks are strong at flipping opponent monsters face-down, making it a good Deck to use with “Goddess Urd’s Verdict”.
However, these cards that change monsters to face-down Defense Position with their effects are weak against Link Monsters, so it’s good to use “Gnomaterial” and “Crackdown” to deal with this.
