Gonna sound wild but maybe ally of justice related or rather the archetypes in the allies of justice. They have been doing alot of that lore in MD recently and the battles of legend set

@ToddG-The short answer is nobody knows due to the fact that Konami doesn’t follow a set pattern.
That being said, it MIGHT be likely that the next set will be 5Ds themed on the basis that we haven’t had a 5Ds themed set for longer than the other 2 themes that are outstanding for this current series.
Using the same principal, the one after that would be Arc V themed, then finally DM but again, Konami are unlikely to follow this pattern as it would be the most obvious.

During Series 11 (which started with “Return of the Duelists”), each of the first six Yugioh series got 2 Cover Themes each.
While we won’t know if they continue this for Series 12 (which began with “Duelist Nexus”), if they do, that means that if “Aliance Insight” is the 1st VRAINS Cover Theme, we will still have one more Cover Theme each for 5D’s, ZEXAL, ARC-V, and VRAINS.
The biggest thing throwing this off is that they did two DM Cover Themes in a row (Shining Sarcophagus in “Legacy of Destruction” immediately followed by Millennium Exodia in “The Infinite Forbidden”). Many chalk that up to the timeframe this happened being between the 25th Anniversary event that happened this year back in February.
Still, if we do get two Cover Themes for each of the first six Yugioh shows, unless they want to do ZEXAL and particularly VRAINS near back-to-back, the Cover Theme for the April 2025 Core Booster may possibly be for 5D’s or for ARC-V. Or still for VRAINS or ZEXAL. As long as it’s a show that hasn’t already received two Cover Themes during Series 12 (DM and GX).

I can’t see them making ZEXAL and particularly VRAINS near back-to-back… Konami wants profit and I just don’t see those series being popular enough to push product as much as Duel Monsters etc etc. I guess they can make the cover card something really popular but who knows these days. I’d be interested to see what the sales were for each pack in Series 11 and 12 and compare them
@Joseph I am wondering since they are still pushing the 25th anniversary if they will deviate from previous patterns and push more cash grabs for the remaining packs of Series 12
For the second Vrains packs it’s probably going to be Code Talker support. We already got new Firewall support from Cyberstorm Access. It would be cool if it was Goukis but I doubt it.
reminds me of duelist alliance, so I am gonna guess it’s a pendulum support set with Yuga’s new ultimate odd-eyes pendulum dragon form.
Duelist Alliance was not actually called Duelist Alliance in Japan. It was The Duelist Advent.
Genaric Cyberse and AI support, now that sounds good to me, for @Ignister support I can imagine maybe a @Ignister form for Firewall dragon and a few dozen main deck cards for the Archetype.
While the genaric Cyberse support I can imagine it being something of a mix and match aray of genaric’s, with maybe a odd bit of code talker support.
Regardless I am hoping that the set is worth it.
well based on precedent, it would probably be a theoretical what if playmaker did accept Ai’s offer to become one during their final duel.

Why is everyone hoping for @ignister support, granted a @ignister form for firewall dragon does sound cool, the chances of that are slim, we had cyberse support in cyberstorm access like last year, but it is possible however I will not jump the gun until the cover theme is revealed.
Cyberstorm Access was the last set of Series 11. We’re half way through Series 12 now. There are 7 sets between CYAC and ALIN.
I mean what other Vrains anime Archetype are they going to choose? I support it could be Gouki but I don’t think Go that important of a character to have a cover monster.
Sets tend to have incredibly obvious names lately, and VRAINS hasn’t had a pack since the current pattern with Duelist Nexus started.

Altergeist already got new support in DUNE last year.
Even if it was a Vrains pack, they only put 1 anime support per series. If the cover card is from Vrains, the other anime support will be from another series.

For the cover card i think it’ll be one of those 3 options – a Link-6 monster based on Firewall dragon (the regular one or why not Singularity or Darkfluid ?)

The last legAIcy support wasn’t even that long ago. There are other vrains antagonists that could grace the cover but, whoops. none of their cards are released.
This is definitely not Duelist Alliance since its not called like that in the OCG. This is gonna be a Villain on the cover right? Most likely AI, covers and names tend to be very obvious.

Based on the current pattern we only get one support wave for a True Draco lore archetype every year. This year was Crystron, last year was Majespecter and the year before was Dracoslayers.
