Royal Rebels will appreciate such an easy-to-field Level 5 or higher Fiend, I reckon.
In fact, this Monster is intended to be used with Royal Rebel’s since these rocker Monsters like to Tribute Monsters to get their Effects (and well, that Fiend abomination can easily Special Summon to bring to the field)
Either way, I feel like Royal Rebel’s would need a good wave of support to make the Deck playable again.
If the support of the December pack is not enough, the only thing that can save Royal Rebel’s is a broken Skill in Duel Links.
As expected Cul-de-sac makes it easier to activate the effects of the higher Royal Rebel’s upon them being Tribute Summoned, namely Heavy Metal and Invasion. The Special Summon condition isn’t a HOPT either which is a nice bonus. It is balanced around not being Level 7, meaning you still need to put in some work if you want to use Cul-de-sac to Tribute Summon Doom Metal and Hard Rock. Its 0 DEF makes it directly compatible with Echo, while Special Summoning this in Defense and its Continuous Effect make it a decent target for Command. You can also use Cul-de-sac as a free Special Summon and Tribute body on board to summon Blues or Rocker to activate their effects.
