Same column tricks, same column time.
PHNI-JP080 鉄騎の雷鎚 Tekki no Ikadzuchi (Steelsteed Thunderhammer/Iron Thunderhammer)
Counter Trap Card
(1) When a Spell/Trap Card, or monster effect, is activated on the field: Pay half your LP; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that card, then destroy all cards in the Spell & Trap Zone and Monster Zones in its same column.
Note: 鉄騎 has been previously localized as Iron. 雷鎚 is a play on 雷 (Ikazuchi), a way of saying Thunder, but tossing in Tsuchi (鎚), the word for Hammer or Mallet.
鉄鎚 as a semi-related note is a metaphor for a completely devastating blow or an unstoppable force. Ever here the term ‘Iron Hammer of Justice’ in anime or manga? Same idea being used here.

Rip solemn judgment
nah… I dont see this card being played over solemn purely because it doesn’t negate the summon
yeah, just like the other guy said, other would prefer to use solemn instead of this specially it destroys all cards on the same column of the negated card and that including your cards
Nowhere I think I am initially think it was decent until you realize destroying all other cards in same column is not optional cause u can blow your S/T and monster if it happens to be summoned as same column as the player used this
What’s a God to a nonbeliever
It can be dangerous to yourself…
Dinomorphia says thanks.
ey, that’s one of my favorite monsters featured. saw the thumbnail and thought they’ll finally give us more of Tiamaton. guess I’ll wait 10 years more. lol
This card is a weaker version of Solemn Judgment and may see some experimentation here and there (especially in Decks that want their own cards on the field destroyed). While it loses out on negating summons, which is far better than negating an on field monster effect activated, you can generate a lot of advantage.
Probably will be a staple in certain Dinomorphia builds to make it easier for them to play with low LP and respond to monster effects more easily.
Continue having fun being punished for your cards’ physical location. /s Hanoi goon #1 really was the most tragic character.
Could fire kings play this?
Just place this in the EMZ column, EZ win vs any Link deck, as long as you fill the other one. Also nuts in Dinomorphia, and perhaps even fire kings, although their deck list is pretty tight as it is.
