We’re long past due for another Eternal Drought-style card. ALL Goblins must be destroyed and banished face-down. Including those in the side deck!
Goblin Paratrooper Squad is starting to be a bit more viable now.
Love how this theme is both Xyz spam and anti-Xyz at the same time.
Makes sense, what with Goblin Paratrooper Squad being released in the same product as an entire Goblin-supporting theme of cards. That is to say, design synergy with Goblin Rider was planned with Goblin Paratrooper Squad in mind, and vice versa.
Now where’s a Goblin Slayer when you need him?

Konami if you want to kill purrely do it on a banlist, don’t hit every single xyz archetype on the game!

Why Konami afraid to support the old “Goblin” cards directly. Most of “Goblin” monsters are lv. 4, and only 2 “Goblin” lv. 1. Then, this new arctype cannot search “Goblin” Spell/trap. From my view, “Goblin” Spells/Traps aren’t broken for today’s standard. In fact, those “Goblin” spells/traps will give more uniqueness for the deck and bring the nostalgia.

This is almost perfect, but I still disappointed. At least let us to add the old “Goblin” Spells/Traps in this deck.
Goblin Fan isn’t a Goblin card is the main reason.
The first level modulation effect on the Continuous Spell is literally made for the non-Goblin Riders to be able to Xyz into the Rank 3s.
Or to use the Level 4s or 1s to make Rank 1/4.

3 dug and 1 rota for goblins (and maybe even 1 actual rota) is just a free win side-deck option vs purrely. Detatch the level 1 purrely with dug which turns off noirs quick effect, search rota for goblins, activate it to search another dug, then the added effect to remove another material to summon dug for free, make fortune tune using both dugs, crash into noir, and make a zeus that outs the noir and all continuous spells, leaving you free to full combo in mp2 with your normal summon unused and without the purrely player recovering cards with my friend.
Really interesting deck by itself, low ceiling with crazy grind is neat, with some randomly free matchups due to the excessive xyz hate. I guess someone at konami really liked fallen of argyro and wanted to expand on the concept.
You could also just use a kaiju and out noir without wasting you battle phase

Incredibly cool art, theme and playstyle. I’m surprised Konami is still coming up with new deck idea mechanics. Detaching XYZ materials for effects? Crazy. My only concern is that you’re going to run out of material to detach real quick.

I don’t like Mach Rider in that it relies entirely on BKSS to know you can’t use it multiple times per chain. They need to reverse the stupid baboon rules and just design card text accordingly: a soft once per chain in hand is perfectly acceptable considering we already have to trust players for mind crush.

Very funny to me that not only is there no Hazy Flame support in the year of FIRE, there’s an entire archetype dedicated to dismantling XYZ monsters that stack materials. They’re probably meant for stealing house cats and tearing apart VOLTRON, but it’s also very apparent that goblins took a look at Hazy Flame Basiltrice and thought “winner winner, I spy a chicken dinner.”
