As usefull as an dead battery, if it was a link monster it would have been great but as a rank 7 , there is simply no deck that can make use of it or need it

You are right, most players stupid.
For those who didn’t get it, this card was made for Fire Kings, and not only due to the self-destruction effect. Blaster was unbanned for all FIRE decks currently on stage, but none if them plays another LV7 monster, whereas FK just got a reason to play Diabellestarr which it is.
You are not going to be making this in FK. Other than Blaster not actually helping the deck, the reason to play the Diabellestarr engine in PK is to make Ponix with has you sending Dark Witch to GY.
This gives dragons more options late game than anything bringing this back after get board wiped seems ok the pop is ok. Should have been a quickie.
If they continue the cycle the others might see more play.
why play this over dark armed dragon or voloferniges?
dark is not once per turn and can potentially be done out of 1 level 7
volo has quick effect and gives atk bonuses
So you can summon it twice via proper and its second effect but the first isnt good since your trading your 1 card in hand and an xyz mat for just 1 pop twice. Youd be -2 at this point even in Fire Kings, do they even abuse Blatster? To ignore its -2 for popping cards in FK you need to have Rank 7 Toolbox whic at this point youd run Kash but at that point just play Diabllestar for better card advantage than waste it for 2 pops which Fire King can just do easier.
As a generic Rank 7 Toolvox its mid for removal but there are arguibly better ones and ones that dont even need strenous cost to pop twice. You cant wvwn fit these in a Rank 7 toolbox deck since the 1 hand pop is so nonsensical as a cost where even Dino cant abuse it. Nor FKs.
In short wasted good art for a mid card even for 2018.
