Evil bugs go brrrrrrrr. Or buzz.

Strategic Summary:
Welcome back for another take on the Insect Pile, a strategy of throwing so many bugs together, it actually works! The primary archetype here is the Beetroopers, an archetype of Beetles that aim to Fusion Summon and Link Summon impressive Insects, such as Giant Beetrooper Invincible Atlas and Ultra Beetrooper Absolute Hercules. Adding to these two behemoths is a brand new Fusion Monster from CYAC, Beetrooper Cruel Saturn (YGOrg Translation), which is a Level 5 that tutors a Beetrooper card upon being Special Summoned and that Special Summons a banished Beetrooper whenever an Insect is banished. This synergizes exceptionally well with a ton of other Insects, as Resonance Insect and Praying Mantis (YGOrg Translation) love to be banished, and Beargram, Shelled Emperor of the Forest Crown, Beetrooper Assault Roller, Beetrooper Landing, and Beetrooper Armor Horn love to banish Insects.
Beyond just spamming the Troopers, we also have a few additional support themes. First up is the new attempt at giving Weevil a functional deck, as this generic Insect support works quite well with all of the elements at play here. Whether it is Infinite Antlion equipping Resonance Insect or Retaliating “C” from your GY, Gokipole tutoring a Level 4 Insect, or Giant Ballgame recovering an Insect from the GY, you have plenty of tools to keep the material flowing for all of your summoning needs. Or, you can always turn to the Krawler archetype, as Krawler Soma fills a similar role, summoning up to 2 additional Krawler monsters from your Deck. Finally, since I’m sure you wanted even more themes, I’ve also included Traptantalizing Tune from the new Traptrix Structure Deck, just to provide a bit more speed whenever you draw or tutor too many Level 4 Insects! If all of these themed options weren’t enough, Insects have a ton of generic extenders as well, from Dream Cicada, Guard Mantis (YGOrg Translation), and Battlewasp – Pin the Bullseye, to Doom Dozer, Battlewasp – Twinbow the Attacker, and Humongous Hive Hegemon – Zexstagger. Unleash the hive of insects on your opponent, led by the Beetroopers!
