Welcome back for a LIGHTer Fairy deck profile, featuring both the Herald series and the Valkyrie archetype. This Ritual/Xyz combo deck makes the most of Level 1 Support, using tech options such as Angel O1 (YGOrg Translation) and Guiding Light to make the use of Jack-In-The-Hand immensely more viable for searching Eva, a godsend for any Herald deck. Speaking of Heralds, lets talk about the two bosses, Herald of Perfection and Herald of Ultimateness. Each brings negation and control to the table, giving you the ability to stop your opponent just as long as you maintain a steady stream of Fairies in your hand. But where this deck really shines is by introducing Diviner of the Herald, a Level 2 Fairy that sets up for Ritual Summons by sending Herald of the Arc Light from your Extra Deck or for R9NK Xyz Summons by sending Trias Hierarchia from your deck to the GY. This occurs with the help of Diviner’s second effect, which triggers whenever it is tributed – it summons a level 2 or lower Fairy straight from your deck. If you summon Valkyrie Sechste via this method, it’s effect will then trigger getting you your second Level 9, Valkyrie Sigrun straight from the deck. Combine this with another Level 1 monster, such as Angel O1 (YGOrg Translation), and you can also employ the new Drytron R1NK Xyz monster to tutor a Ritual Spell for you! All together, this deck combines the best of the LIGHT attribute in supporting both Ritual and Xyz summons – a unique combination to say the least.
