Strategic Summary:
This take on the iconic DARK Fiend archetype fully embraces the Pendulum mechanic and hybrid Pendulum Extra Deck monsters, such as D/D/D Super Doom King Dark Armageddon. Instead of just focusing on the combo potential of the D/D/D at looping out generic synchros such as Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon, this offers a pure approach showcasing the less-ubiquitous options. As a Pendulum Spell, Go! – D/D/D Divine Zero King Rage lets you tribute summon without tributing, in addition to preventing one instance of effect damage per turn, but as a monster, it can end the game by attacking directly! The most valuable player in this sort of build is D/D/D Eulogy King Vice Requiem (YGOrg Translation), letting you trade in your Dark Contracts for an easy summon and level modulation. Either way, this helps you get access to your Synchros, Xyzs, and more material for your Link Summon, while also giving your D/D/D monster an extra effect to boot – the ability to destroy a card once per turn. Embody everyone’s cooperate overlords by conquering the market with the D/D/D!
