Creative Deck Profile: Digital Bug Datascape

Insects meet Psychics mixed with Wyrms in this hybrid strategy!

Strategic Summary:

The upcoming Datascape archetype from Phantom Rage mixes WIND/Psychic monsters with EARTH/Wyrm monsters to support both Synchro and Xyz summoning, specifically enabling summoning Level/Ranks that are a multiple of 3. On the other hand, the Digital Bugs are the LIGHT/Insects, built to Xyz Summon only insect monsters, granting those Xyz additional effects. Together, these two themes offer unique disruptive elements, giving the pilot soft control over the duel through a variety of means. Whether it is Number 3: Cicada King negating monster effects or Datascape Fox – Xianxian banishing all cards sent from the field to the GY, the Extra Deck is utilized as a toolbox to address a variety of threats! Also, who doesn’t love abusing a cool little bug named Transcicada?

Note: as many of these cards were just revealed, most of the names are YGOrg translations of the OCG text. As these cards are also yet to be released even in the OCG or backed by official rulings, card interactions as they currently stand cannot be fully guaranteed.
