Have all of the draws, then use ’em!

Strategic Summary:
Today’s CDP features the return of the Clown Crew to my channel, this time with a few neat tech cards and a ton of innate power. The Clown Crew theme revolves around Clown Crew Biancaviso, which gives you draws equal to the number of monsters Tributed for its Tribute Summon. As for tributes for this Level 7 Illusion, the theme has a Link, Synchro, Fusion, Xyz, Ritual, and soon Pendulum – with the addition of Clown Crew Cappello – to offer, each triggering when tributed to give you the most value possible. Combine that with Clown Crew Matinee Operatics, and you can draw up to 6 cards during the End Phase, if you’ve tributed enough different card types of monsters. With all those draws, I’ve fully doubled down on hand traps, offering a wide variety to draw into… as if this deck needed more off-theme support!
Besides its consistency, this theme is also known for being able to run a variety of high-powered Tribute Summonable monsters, and in here, I have included a few of those primary options. The Wicked Avatar is up first, shutting down all of your opponents’ S/Ts for 2 of their turns, which in most matchups will lead to automatic victory. Then there’s Floowandereeze & Empen, a Level 10 Winged Beast that prevents your opponent’s Special Summoned monsters in Attack Position from activating their effects. Next is VIP Whale, a Level 6 Fish that gains VIP counters when Tribute Summoned, giving you a 50/50 chance to negate your opponent’s activated cards or effects. The last, and arguably most important addition, is Assault Lion (YGOrg Translation), a new EARTH Beast-Warrior that can add itself back from the GY and immediately tribute summon itself, after a Beast-Warrior is Summoned to your field. Hint hint, all of your Clown Crew you’d offer as Tribute material are Beast-Warriors, making this a perfect way to Tribute Summon on command, since they have both Clown Crew Malabarisme and Clown Crew Soiree Operations to Special Summon multiple at once! Take on a New Face with the Clown Crew Finale!
