CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations from Kazama-san and Tsuda-san, who played Yugi and Kaiba in the “Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters” animated series.
Kazama Shunsuke-san (Muto Yugi)
I’m really looking forward to Takahashi-sensei’s original artwork exhibition. In “Yu-Gi-Oh!”, Takahash-sensei wrote a story about a soul that revives, transcending time and space. I believe that if we continue to love his drawings and stories, his spirit will return to us again and again. I can’t wait to see his countless works and feel his soul.
Tsuda Kenjiro-san (Kaiba Seto)
I once saw Takahashi Kazuki-sensei sign his autograph on shikishi (1). Not only was he signing his autograph, he was also drawing. It was magical. In an instant, Yugi and Kaiba appeared, with a strong sense of energy and passion. When the movie launched, there was a bit of alcohol being passed around, and there were many many sheets of shikishi and magic markers being used by the Anime staff. Even Takahashi-sensei’s artwork, which weren’t him giving 100%, still really impressive to see in person. While next to him, giving him my compliments and admiration, Takahash-sensei was embarrassed due to his shy personality. Duelists! Now you will be able to see his artwork up close! Go! Look! Takahashi Kazuki still lives, inside them!
Translation Note:
(1) Shikishi is basically a high quality artboard often used for autographs and artwork.
