Tune up your Sonic screwdrivers… or Warriors!

Strategic Summary:
Today’s CDP closes out my mini Extended-Art-Card week with a Synchro heavy strategy, showcasing just how powerful the Synchron strategy has become… and somehow less dependent upon Junk Speeder! The Synchron strategy consists of various Tuners that aim to Synchro summon a blitz of monsters, and while they’ve received some powerful support recently, they always used to revolve around a successful resolution of that Level 5 Synchro… but now, with the help of Assault Sonic Warrior (YGOrg Translation), Junk Signal (YGOrg Translation), Junk Meister (YGOrg Translation), and Junk Armor (YGOrg Translation), all of that dependency is left in the dustbin of history. While each of those new options provides innate extension that the deck has longed for, the other key opportunity is found in the Legendary 5Ds Decks support – specifically Scrap Warrior. You see, it prevents activated effects from being negated of monsters that mention Junk Warrior, including monsters summoned from the GY by something like Junk Synchron. This alone enables a bunch of new combo potential, especially if you end up using both your normal Normal Summon and your extra Normal Summon from Synchro Fellowship on Junk Synchron!
Now I know – that alone won’t win the duel, and there’s plenty of degenerate Synchro combos you can do with other builds of the deck, such as handlooping (like I did in this former Mitsurugi/Synchron profile: https://youtu.be/inWzngQ2oY8). But if you want to try playing a bit more fair, this build just tries to prevent your opponent from playing the duel by negating everything they try to do with a board of high-powered Synchro Dragons. What’s better than a bunch of Synchro Dragons? How about summoning them again, after you used them to Synchro ladder, with the help of Crimson Dragon Quetzacoatl (YGOrg Translation), which brings back all Dragon Synchro monsters from your GY when Synchro Summoned, plus it has a negation effect of its own! Pair this with the original Crimson Dragon, and your Stardust Dragons will be ready to re-enter the fray and seal the duel in your favor!
Q Note: This CDP was unfortunately finished, recorded, and ready prior to the reveal of StarJunk Synchron, but that card is such a powerful extender that I’m sure you can figure out how to slot it in on your own!
