Strategic Summary:

Today’s CDP features another fun hybrid of multiple archetypes, inspired by another one of the cool players from my Locals scene. To kick things off, we have the Novuelles archetype – and no, I’m not talking just one Nouvelles monster – this has the full suite of Nouvelles Rituals backed by one very Angry Burger. Pulling this off requires consistency, and that’s exactly what Nouvelles Restaurant “At Table”, Nouvelles Recipe Book “Recettes de Nouvllez”, and Chef de Nouvelles brings – they all search the individual required pieces for a Ritual Summon. Or, if you want a value option, simply turn to Pre-Preparation of Rites and Voice La Carte (Today’s Menu) to grab both at once. Regardless, the Nouvelles theme is best known for its Quick Effect tributing, permitting immense non-destruction monster removal whenever your opponent attempts a play you just don’t like.

Now what pairs well with a Nouvelles entree? That’s right – some P.U.N.K. art and JAMs for atmosphere. Here, the P.U.N.K. engine is led by the standard players, with Emergency Teleport or Noh-P.U.N.K. Foxy Tune leading into Synchro heavy combos, enhanced by their recent support. With Noh-P.U.N.K. Rising Scale now in the game, the deck also has additional starter potential, while P.U.N.K. JAM Extreme Session and P.U.N.K. JAM FEVER! both get you free draws closer to big plays. One specific interesting bridge you may not have considered before is to use P.U.N.K. JAM Dragon Drive to access Impcantation Penciplume, as combining that with any Ritual in hand can get you multiple material for Ritual Summons due to Impcantation Inception, without really locking yourself down. The key to this deck is balancing the competing flavors – get that right, and you’ll be serving up your opponent on a sizzling platter!
