The third Fusion is here!

Strategic Summary:
Welcome back for another CDP, and this time I’m covering a competitive iteration on the Dracotail strategy that has been making waves in the OCG, and it is only about to get stronger with the reveal of Dracotail Shaurus (YGOrg Translation) coming in BUPO. This new Level 6 LIGHT Fusion may have a similar material line-up to Dracotail Gulamel, but it does something significantly more important – it gives you actual endless recycling of resources. While it’s on the field, it can target 2 Dracotail cards in the GY and one card on the field of the same card type, shuffling all 3 back into the Deck. No longer will the opponent be able to negate the last Dracotail Trap in the chain, Shaurus put an end to that! Also, Filia Regis is now easier to ever to summon, especially once you factor in Gandora-G the Dragon of Destruction, searched by Shining Sarcophagus!
Speaking of Sarcophagus, what does this engine bring the Dracotail strategy? In short, more consistency and protection. You see, Dark Magician Girl the Magician’s Apprentice can discard any other card to summon itself, then grab Shining Sarcophagus from your deck. Since it is a DARK Spellcaster, it can then be used to summon Dark Magician of Destruction (YGOrg Translation), which gives you multiple avenues to access to Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon, without needing King of the Swamp in your deck. Even without this Dark Magician combo, the Shining Sarcophagus engine gives you access to a Dragon or Spellcasters, letting you have more material to make your Fusion Summons, or even an Xyz Summon of Number 90: Galaxy-Eyes Photon Lord, if you’re feeling spicy.

I would like to see a future deck, such as Albaz/Ecclesia or other fusion heavy archetype using an Artmage engine with a bit more focus on “Artmage Non Finito” to make use of her OPT but repeatable fusion effect, likely combo’ing it with cards that can revive or recycle the fusion materials or any spent fusion monsters so you can just keep churning them out as needed.
