Strategic Summary:
Today’s CDP returns to the current Lore series that surrounds Medius the Pure, the Level 4 DARK Fairy that Special Summons Power Patrons from the deck. In today’s crossover, it can grab Artmage Power Patron to enable a Fusion Summon, or it can grab Power Patron DoomZ to unleash literal equip hell, with a combo chain meant to impress. You see, Cursed Bamboo Sword is amazing at tutoring more Bamboo Sword Spells, such as Golden Bamboo Sword or my personal favorite, Burning Bamboo Sword. That’s because once you have Burning out, the next Bamboo Sword you activate will cause your opponent’s next Main Phase 1 to be skipped! Combine that with Terminal World, and you could skip your opponent’s entire chances to play cards in the duel…
Enough about that degenerate combo, because this deck also does fairly well without it. The DoomZ engine enables other absurd locks as well, with DoomZ Destruction preventing your opponent from adding cards from the Main Deck to their hand, outside of Drawing, or even DoomZ XII End – Drastrius which can equip multiple of your opponent’s monsters as Equip Cards. Turning away from that, on the Artmage side, the Field Spell is all it takes to unleash a fury of Main Deck effect monsters that carry Quick Effects to disrupt the opponent. All of this leads to a very potent hybrid strategy, able to take the opponent by surprise then crush their hopes and dreams. Unleash Medius the Pure’s power with this fun Terminal Deck!
